COVERING TV STATIONS IN SOUTHWESTERN BC

CBUT "CBC News: Canada Now" (2/15/2001)

Slight update on the previous news graphics.

The new L3 with only one row. They run a promo of what's coming up on the station. The rest of the promotional caption. The new split screen. The new L3 with two rows. Here's Laurie Brown on the arts. As a bubble moves down the screen along the side, the Lions Gate Bridge with the "Canada Now" logo appears. Ian with the OTS. Oh yeah, today's the Flag Day. The world-famous maple leaf flag was first flyed 36 years ago today. The segment animation to "Canadian Voices." There are some creepy lips that are actually mumbling something in this shot. The rest of the segment animation. The 3-row L3 didn't change that much. BTW almost nobody knows that today's Flag Day. During a little chat, Ian and Gloria Macarenko discuss how they celebrated Flag Day. Ian said that he's still eating the chocolates left over from Valentine's Day. And here's Gloria. And another look at the split screen.
