Vancouver Television/
VTV: 1997 - 2001
During its days as VTV,
the station's IDs mainly involve the "VTV' logo and the numeral 9
in the foreground, and often a test pattern sort of thing in the
background. The main colour is gold, which was also reflected in their
old news open, and on the some levels, their news set.
One of the short idents.
 
Another one of them. I think you can see the "test pattern sort of
thing" here.
A third one. Similar to the last one, except with the "Cable
9"'s rotating around the VTV logo.
This one has a translucent globe, which becomes the "O" in
"Vancouver."
This one has the "VTV" in their usual colours!

CTV British Columbia/
BC CTV: 2001 - now
A legal ID with some technical info is shown at the beginning of the
broadcast day. Visually speaking this ID only features the "BC CTV"
logo on an animated background. This was taken about 2 minutes after 6am
on September 1st, 2001, as the station begins its first full broadcast
day as BC CTV.
"Vancouver Alive" remained, but got a different look.
Nevertheless the text is still arranged in a similar way. Still
presented by Tamara Taggart.
(Note: After several days, the
"Vancouver Alive" logo changed back to the old oval style, but
the background full-screen graphics were not touched.)
